When you become a member by purchasing a qualifying life insurance product* Catholic United will make a $15 donation in your name to the Catholic school or religious education program of your choice. Catholic families receive the protection that life insurance brings, and your schools and programs receive donations as a direct result of your membership.
How do I get started?
For new members
Your local Sales Representative can help you determine the right life insurance product for your needs. Let your Sales Rep know you would like to take part in the program when you apply and you can sign up for the R.E.new Fund contribution as part of your life insurance application. Then you can sign up for the R.E.new Fund contribution as part of your life insurance application.
For parish and school leadership
The R.E.new fund for Catholic religious education is one of the most simple fundraisers you will find. If you would like to receive more donations from the R.E.new fund, contact you local Sales Representative and let him or her know that you are willing to publicize the program in your community.
You can help generate donations from the R.E.new Fund for Catholic religious education by:
- promoting the program at parent meetings
- placing program inserts in parish bulletins or school newsletters
- publishing a notice on parish or school web sites
- sending a mailing on school, parish or program letterhead

*All life insurance policies from Catholic United Financial are eligible, except Youth Term to Age 25: Periodic Premium (Plan 743) and Youth Term Special Benefit (Plan 744).
