Medicare Supplement Insurance

By this fall, we hope to have another product that will be of great value to many of our members – a Medicare Supplement plan.

For nearly 140 years, Catholic United has been there with life insurance to protect the families of our members at the loss of a breadwinner or caregiver. We’ve also expanded our product line over the years to include annuities that can help our members with retirement savings and preparation.

By the time summer bids adieu and the leaves turn a brilliant hue, we hope to have another product that will be of great value to many of our members – a Medicare Supplement plan.

For those of us who are age 65 or older, Medicare provides a great benefit to protect our health. But it doesn’t cover everything. An individual is still responsible for deductibles and co-payments, as well as any services not covered by Medicare. That’s where a Medicare Supplement policy can help.

When you need to see a doctor or go to the hospital, all you’ll have to do is show your health care provider your Catholic United Medicare Supplement policy identification card. Once Medicare has paid their portion of your claim, we’ll pay our portion and let you know if there is a balance due. It’s that easy!

Catholic United plans to offer Medicare Supplement coverage in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Premiums and available plans will vary by state. We are currently developing our Medicare Supplement products and filing them with state insurance regulators.

We look forward to offering competitive Medicare Supplement coverage to our current members of Medicare age. We also hope to sell this product to new members and introduce them to Catholic United. Look for more information in future issues of Our Catholic Journey magazine and in your email inbox later this fall.
