This workshop is two things: 1) a great starting point for people who need an estate plan and 2) a good reminder that a long-term care funding plan can help protect the estate you’ve worked a lifetime to build. Topics to be discussed include:

• Understanding how probate will affect your family and estate
• Managing tax exposure and protecting assets
• Making the best decisions regarding wills and trusts
• Planning and funding for final expenses
• Setting up documentation like power of attorney and health care directives
• Preparing you for a visit to an attorney (potentially saving you money)
• Sharing how to avoid an asset-depleting “spend down”
• Explaining four options for funding a long-term care plan

Tim Amireault, Sales Manager at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, will address these topics and take questions about your situation during our Q&A session.
