Important Year-End Tax Reminder

This is a reminder that you still have time to maximize your 2022 IRA contributions, even though it’s not 2022 anymore.

According to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), you have until April 18, 2023 to make contributions to your IRA that can be attributed to your 2022 contribution limit. The limits in 2022 are:

• $6,000 for people under age 50
• $7,000 for people age 50 and older

There are other considerations regarding IRA contributions that are determined by your age and income level. Contact your local Catholic United representative for more details on these limits.

The information provided is based on our understanding of the laws currently in effect. Neither Catholic United Financial nor the Catholic United Financial Foundation provides tax or legal advice. Consult your personal tax or legal advisor with questions about your specific situation.
